Frequently Asked Questions
What time do you meet?
We have one service that meets at 10 AM every Sunday. After the service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall or member’s homes to further strengthen our community and welcome visitors. Adult and children's Sunday School classes regularly also take place in person after the conclusion of our worship service, from 11:40-12:30 (NOTE: We are currently on winter break for our Sunday School programs).
Where is the church located?
Our church building is located at 3020 N. Pershing Drive Arlington, VA 22201. Free parking is available on the streets near the church in the Lyon Park neighborhood.
What is the service like?
CCA is committed to the Scriptures and historic, Reformed Christianity. We prioritize expository preaching, meaning our sermons will more often focus on a specific book or passage of scripture rather than a topic.
In addition to the sermon, we combine modern Christian songs, traditional Christian hymns, and Psalms with responsive readings and prayers for a historic and vibrant worship service. Our worship guide is printed for you, so there will be no surprises.
We also celebrate Communion weekly, and welcome all baptized Christians who are members of an evangelical church to participate.
What should I wear?
Come as you are, and wear what you like! We are more concerned with authenticity than outward appearance. You may see some of our members wearing suits and dresses, while others will dress casually in jeans and sweaters.
